Name: Julian Decker
Age: 35 years
Power: Pyrokinesis
Gender: Male
Hometown: Rockport, Maine
Persona: Julian is certainly a loner, and has not made the best choices in life. He has quite a temper and depends on violence being the output of that anger. He has a very hard time trusting anyone especially in his line of work. But once someone does gain his trust he is a very loyal friend. Julian will put his life on the line for what is important to him, wether it is viewed as right or wrong he does not care.
Backstory:
Julian was born in Rockport, Maine to a family of three, his mother, father, and older sister. Life was normal for the boy throughout elementary and middle school. Until late one night Julian’s freshmen year of high school he saw his father arguing with someone out on the docks. Then somehow… he did not know how, his father touched a man and froze him. The frightened teen stayed hidden behind the stack of lobster traps he had been walking by before, and watched his father dump the body in the ocean. He had no clue his father was apart of a good organization that saved people, and that a villain had just been put to rest…. He only saw a violent act and began to hate his father.
About a year passed and Julian grew distant from his family. No one knew why the once exuberant and cheerful boy had become a loner…. And such an angry person. Julian began to hang out with a bad crowd of kids and started pulling pranks around town. In such a small town it was easy for shop owners to figure out who stole their outdoor pricing signs or their mannequins. His behavior only grew worse as did his absolute loathing for his Dad. Then his father, Henry Decker, died. Just like that he was gone. Everyone said it was a hit and run, an accident…. Julian knew there was probably more to it than that.
Julian continued down a terrible path, and dropped out of high school. He made a living with small time crime but the jobs only grew until he was in charge of his own crew.

Sample Paragraph:
[[post from another forum with character Riley]]
She walked down the street alone, the foggy lamps making her merely a slender silouhette. Night was her favorite time, when blackness washed over the earth. Only then could you see just how every part of their world was saturated with evil. Of course she was not a part of that. Riley was on the good side of things of course. The rain began to fall harder, a streak of lightning crackling across the skies. She could feel her body absobring the bits of electrical energy let off by the storm. Being in the rain too long was not a good idea for her. Already she could feel her skin prickling as the electric currents ran rampid through her damp skin.
Loud commotion could be heard from the upper alley. Obviously just another fight. The girl crept into the shadows, appreciating their usual cover. The only thing that may have stood out were here glowing blue eyes. They always gave her away when it was raining, it made it harder to control her power. She watched with amusement as he shot down the drunken group. Riley did not run out to defend them though, she just watched. They seemed to deserve the beating they got. When the fun was over though, she emerged once more onto the sidewalk.
Finally she arrived just outside the bar. The bouncer stood outside with a few regulars. As their eyes met hers they quickly moved aside and held the door open for her. Out of respect, but mostly fear. Riley came here often and everyone in the bar knew better than to mess with her. Most days she was moody and the smallest thing would set her off, usually something out of the blue.
Flashback:
Riley sat alone at the bar as usual. Lately she had been visiting the local bar after finishing a job. She had just started this new job for some high roller she knew little of. The man...or woman, payed in cash every time she completed a task. She never knew since they stayed in their limo and had the chauffer give her the pay.Part of her thought she was crazy for doing this, the other half thought it made perfect sense to kill those undeserving of life. One of the regulars came and sat next to her. A man in his early thirties. Obviously he was hitting on her, but he was honestly trying to be nice and polite to her. It was when he said his name that it all happened, like the flick of a lightswitch. Riley threw her fist into his face. He plummeted to the groundwith a bloody nose. When he opened his eyes Riley stood above him, a hand shaking as it held the gun pointed towards his face.
That was one of the nights they realized this young woman was dangerous, even if she seemed like an innocent child by the looks of it. Later when they brought the man outside they asked him what happened. He looked up at them and stuttered.
"N-nothing, I just said my name was Shawn."
End Flashback
She sat down at the bar, a few people looked over warily but the moment she met their gaze they stared into their drinks. Riley ordered herself a scotch and looked up at the old TV, one of the games were playing. She noticed a girl a few yards off, dressed a little skimpy. She had vodka in front of her as well. Riley just smirked, that girl did not look like she could handle alcohol well. light weight... Absent mindedly she looked back up at the sports game, her mind drifting off as she sipped on her scotch.
