Rules & Regulations
Out Of Character
1. Be kind to other members, there is no need to harass anyone for any reason. If there is a serious issue PM a moderator for assistance.
2. There will be no tolerance of any negative religious, racial remarks etc.
3. Please avoid roleplaying with a select few members. Be open and willing to create plots with new members so they can be apart of our community.
4. Your character must be accepted by a MOD before you can begin role playing.
5. The password hidden in these rules must be stated on your character application.
In-Character
1. No Mary Sues, meaning no perfect characters that are good at everything. Everyone has flaws it makes the story more interesting.
2. Try to avoid stereotypical characters and do your best to be original.
3. No god-modding, this means you can not control anyone's character but your own!
4. For now we have no strict fight/battle rules. We would like to let the RPers plot out which character will win themselves. This is to avoid [password is rose] the typical issue where only advanced RPers have powerful characters. We want even beginners to get a fair chance at playing the type of character they want.
5. Please keep graphic content such as sexual situations to a minimum and politely fade to black. We do not want the board getting deleted due to something like that.
6. This is technically a PG-13 role play so swearing is permitted as well as other adult situations such as drugs etc. So beware!
7. No multiple powers, one power per character.
8. No mutants or blue skin, this a Heroes based RPG not X-Men. Everyone must appear like a normal human. If you think you have a special case PM a MOD but this will be a very tough rule to get around.
9. Powers need to make sense and have a MOD's approval. (this is part of the character application process).
10. We have no word count but there are a few simple posting guidlines
- Posts must be at least five good sentences.
- Each post should offer something for the people you are RPing with to reply to.
- One-Liners are not allowed and will result in a warning.
- Please check grammar and spelling in each reply before posting, it is annoying to read a zillion typos.
- If staff feels a member is repeatedly not following these guidelines a warning will be issued. If the behavior continues banning from the site could occur.
